Rose may be the best skilled player that ever played for Calipari. He has everything you want in a player. I watched a little pre-season stuff last night only because I'm a junkie and HATE MLB with a passion. I will not watch baseball anymore as they are all doped up crybabies.

Can't wait for college ball to start though, I think the Cards and the Cats will both have very nice teams this year.

I am an NBA fan and I think D. Rose has the potential to be one of the all-time greats and a future hall-of-famer, but I have zero respect for him after last season. He was cleared by the doctors for months and refused to play while watching his teammates battling their azzez off in the playoffs while extremely short handed. That told me all I need to know about him as a teammate!

Ya know I had forgot about that interesting take and one that I can't disagree with either...

Oden was 50 when he played his only season at Ohio State. I guess he is pushing 65-70 by now. Rose is one of the top 5 players in the league, skill wise, and one of the lowest 5 in the league as a team player. For my money in all around talent, team player, on and off the court, I will take Kevin Durant over any of them.

I find you alls take on D Rose very interesting. Was he cleared by doctors, yes. Having broke my leg in high school and being on crutches for months i can tell you its not that easy. It took me longer to learn to trust my leg again than it did for the broken leg to heal. I wouldnt jump off one leg and wasnt as effective. Not to mention I wasnt playing at the more intense level that D Rose plays at. It took a ton of running, cutting, and jumping before my mentality would let me go full speed again. Not everybody is the same and he is a franchise player. If I'm the owner, I want him 110% before he gets back out there. Numerous guys in sports have attempted to come back from an injury too early and ruined their careers. His gift has him set for life financially, and he has to look out for that. How many players do you see playing at less than full speed and it causes them to get hurt. All things to think about from his perspective
