This post and this thread are a perfect example of why it's not wise to talk about Politics or Religion. This thread is proof positive of what can happen when this conversation get's started. It's particularly bad on internet talk forums that are not properly moderated. Sometimes things have to get really far out of hand before the site owner figures out that it's not a good idea to allow political and religious speech on their forums.

Many site owners fight with this issue of freedom of speech vs making the site unfriendly to users and their families due to heated arguments.

I know a few people who claim to be Christian but don't always do as Jesus did. Jesus was quicker to forgive than some on the internet.

I personally think we would all get along a lot better with each other if we left politics and religion out of here. Just my two cents.

The Bible is a collection of stories used to guide ones life with,not to hang on every scripture as if it is the end all.You can find multiple scriptures that contradict one another,that said I consider myself a Christian,believe in God ,and while I may be ready to stomp someone's rearend that threatens my Country and Children's future there is just No way you can spin what Obama has and is doing,You cannot serve God and mammon ,Obama and the infiltrator ilk are evil, Muslim,Destructors of this country because of jealousy and radical religious beliefs.Obama's whole family were Communists,he attended a Jakarta in Indoneasia,attended radical church's elsewhere,the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and he's proven that.
He sends American Tax $$$ to every Muslim Cause he can find while ignoring the plight of this country,has forcefully implemented Destructive policies like the ACA that are all about taking our money and controlling the people.Hell,Obama wrote a book describing his big Dream of tearing America apart.
Well,my family has fought for Freedom and Rights in this country for Centuries mind you,not decades Centuries and I'll be Damned if I'll let some Two Bit Communist Party destroy what I Love and My Children's Future.
As far as my "Extremism" I dealt with Viet Cong and I'm knowledgeable about Islamic Extremists and nomatter how bad you people think you can rationalize or negotiate with these idiots,YOU CAN NOT.
They are a plague upon Our Country,Our Freedom,and Our way of Life.So don't expect me to stand down.

Understood, but by far the ugliest threads on this board have been related to sports.
