Fish with eggs

Caught several ky's today for the freezer. Full of eggs. Do they always have eggs or what's up? Usually don't keep bass so I don't know...help

Theyre already developing eggs for spring. This time of year you can see them but they wont be full and wont have the red veins running through them like they will when theyre ready to be laid
