Dale Hollow will be very, very interesting this wk

I'm kind of getting a little concerned with the weather. NOT enough to cancel, but concern enough.

I'd hate to crack up my boat and truck trying to get to a ramp on those billy goat roads down there.

    What do you guys think?

Depending on when you're going down, the ride to the lake or home might be the worst part. Snow/ice are notoriously hard to forecast, but all the signs are there for this thing being a fairly major event.

While my weather prediction thoughts feel most of that area is going to be nothing but heavy rain for this first event Thursday into Friday the second wave of low pressure for Sunday makes me very very nervous. Why you ask......ICE ICE BABY...

If you go get out of there on Saturday or STAY AT HOME...........If I'm wrong I'll blame it on mother nature but if I'm right I'll say I told you so.

George take this thing serious, while it's still evolving that second wave Sunday has the potential for copious amounts of precip in southern Kentucky...with very cold air in place and a warm upper air jet it could get VERY UGLY....

So maybe fish Fri, Sat, and play SUN by ear............

Or leave Sat Night, eat SAT night rental and come home then. Yea, we could do that.

THANKS. I too believe the first part may be ok and the sunday even might kick my can.

    boat slip ?

GEO, do you rent a slip when youre there? or do you trailer in/out each day? the reason I ask is this, if you leave your boat in a slip you can park the truck in a safe place and walk up/down to the boat if you have to.

fished all night last night, in short sleeves at times....beautiful night, and now we have this storm system staring at us. bring it! I will walk over the hill to the marina if I have to....fishing is too good right now to miss a day !

Normally not, but I'm seriously thinking of putting it in at Holly and slipping there. I can do that Thurs Night, and then maybe get up and down the hill.

    Not too sure yet.......

Bite was tough but weather was great until about 11:30 when the thunder rolled, the sky turned black, and the heavens opened dumping hard cold rain. Gonna give her another try in the morning.
