For all my fishing buddies out there. I had a disagreement with two of my fishing buddies about turnover and oxygen.
My buddies stated that during turnover, there is no oxygen, that is why there are no fish. I argued that the O2 DENSE water on the top moves to the bottom, through the column, oxygenating the ENTIRE column. The water is dirty and mucky but there is O2 throughout the entire water column.
I cannot find anything definitive on the web that states right or wrong. Anyone have an answer and some links corroborating the answer?
Later,
Geo
