Teddy Bridgewater

Well that game last night was a classic and very fun to watch. Fourth quarter was just great and my hat is off to Cincy's QB that young fella on a bad wheel played his ass off.

Bridgewater has had a marginal year at best but last night that young man willed them to win. If anybody had wondered about his passion, heart or desire to win I think he answered that question. That fourth down run where he dragged a guy with him backwards for about 5 yards saved the game. Then followed it with a back corner drop to Copeland that was to sweet.

If Louisville can get Teddy to come back and I think he will and that offensive line can actually start doing their job the Cards should be better not world beaters but who knows at least next year the level of competition will be there so it should tell on things pretty quick. Good game and very entertaining last evening..

Hey Don Marcus Smith leads the nation in sacks and Lorenzo Mauldin is like third or fourth in the nation. Actually the Cards D had a very bad game last night despite starting the game with two picks. Normally they play better than that without giving up so many big plays in the secondary. Calvin Pryor was off last night he is a killer safety and will play on Sunday's.

That last red zone stance to keep Cincy to a field goal late in regulation was great though and saved the game.

Bridgewater is the real deal for sure and that pass play where he got away from the rush and slung it basically side-arm right before getting drilled was awesome.

Sometimes I feel sorry for him as the rest of the team doesn't always do everything it can to help him while he's playing his butt off.

28 TD's and 4 picks is a pretty dang good season. I dont see him coming back, the texans look at having the #1 overall pick and need a QB. I dont think he'll ever be a star, but that would be a GREAT situation to step into. Andre johnson is a beast, and they have the pieces to win now, which is odd for a team drafting that high. Coming back to school will not help his draft stock, especially playing against high mediocare competition next year, compared to the joke of a schedule they were forced to play this year. IF he came back and had a subpar season or got injured, he stands to lose millions. At some point these kids have to look out for numero uno. On a side note, i did get a kick out of him doing the cheer in the end zone before the game with UC fans

Teddy has had an excellent year and not sure what else he could do. Now the offense as a whole has been subpar, but I lay that at the feet of OC Shawn Watson.

Teddy is the best QB to ever play at Louisville and will be a solid pro. I cannot imagine any scenario where he stays for his senior year, there is nothing to gain. He is already ptrojected as the #1 qb taken in the draft and possibly the #1 overall pick.

IMO Teddy should be the poster child for college athletics and the NCAA. Never gets in trouble, rose up from horrendous circumstances to get where he is, and will have a college degree at the end of this month! Instead we get highlights of Johnny Football and Jamis Winston, both of whom couldn't carry Teddy's jock as a human being and also aren't as highly thought of at the next level.

Right or wrong I think he just might be coming back boys. My wife and I have a friend very close to this team and actually runs and works out with Lozo. She is a school teacher and has been a mentor of such for him. According to him, Lorenzo said Teddy isn't a hundred percent but is leaning towards coming back. Wanted to win the HT badly. The Offensive line is what hurt the most this year, quite frankly they got their butts handed to them.
I do agree with Tim though Shawn Watson's play calling sometimes blows my mind.

We'll see on Teddy he's waffling back and forth. It was VERY important to him and his Mother that he got a degree so now that this is accomplished he may very well leave especially if they beat the Canes in the bowl game...

I agree 100%. It's refreshing to see kids like T.B. On tv. I know the media loves to show the "scoop" on bad players or scandals and rides them way to long but I like to see kids getting it done without all that junk. Looking forward to seeing him being successful in the NFL next year...
