Everything I've heard so far is that the sauger haven't quite made their run. I believe a few guys have been catching a couple in the mouths of creeks. But I haven't heard recent news of fishing picking up. So give it a shot and report back

I have caught some smaller fish including a few more walleye than usual. But the river is coming way up now so maybe when it falls we will get a good run. I have caught all of my fish with moving baits, curly tail, shad raps. no luck on minnows????
