    Cumberland FnF report

    Thoth
Thot I was gonna get skunked. Fished my normal milk run of points on the lower end with nary a pull down, then started fishing walls and managed six fish, all smallies. The more vertical the better, if the bank had any transition at all I couldn't get hit. Duck jig on 10' leader. Family commitments the next two weekends so it will be Christmas until I can get out again. May try a couple hours in the am.

Thanks for the report. Did you fish any in Indian or Greasy Creek? You said bluff walls, so wondering where you were? Thinking I may get the boat wet in the next few days.

Main lake, mouth of Beaver/Otter. When the wind picked up I ran into Otter, only picked up one fish there.

Thanks, never try to out fish the fish. Know the shad are already in the back of the creeks, with stripers after them. But them ole brown fish???? So if I get out this week, start out on main lake points near Indian and work my way in from their.

Too much color to the water from mid creek back for the FnF due to yesterday's gully washer and that's how I wanted to fish. My first consideration was clear water. Probably could have caught fish on a pill head or swim bait back in the creek, but them pesky strikers make it tuff on a brown fisherman.
