So.... you are saying to "choose" that is not in you but you say it is in other people, if I was to analyze that I would think the 'other people' would require something that would allow them to choose that.

Yep I think it's a choice. I choose not to be and others choose to be. Some people choose to be Gay late in life. I have several women neighbors who are lesbians and in both couples one spouse had kids with their man Many years ago while they were playing it straight.

Don....... I run the obstacle races with two women that were married and have kids and are now divorced and lesbians and are a couple. It doesn't bother me in the least and I am very fond of both of them and consider them very good friends. One is a fitness beast and pushes me which I like...

Life doesn't follow set guidelines I suppose. They know where I stand on all subjects and we don't talk about or dwell on it we are just friends and thats all that matters.

Disagree about the choice deal. I know of similar situations. One female friend went through the same thing. Dated guys in high school. Got married and had a kid. Divorced and has been with women ever since. Grew up in a small midwest town. Lots of pressure to conform and date men. Said it just never felt right. Figured it was that she was not with the right guy. Had a date with a women after the divorce and suddenly it clicked. Things felt right for the first time. Ask your neighbors sometime and see if you do not get a similar response. I have no doubt that you'll find both males and females who come to the realization later in life that they've been dating the opposite sex when really they should have been dating the same sex. Pressures to conform can sometimes override natural urges so such things are repressed and the person goes through life unhappy.
