Outboard question

Looking to have my Carb cleaned on a 89 Evinrude 40 HP. Anybody have recommendations of a shop or person and have any idea what the cost would be? Motor was having trouble at low to idle speed before the end of this last season. Wants to die after coming down off plane also. I live in Oldham county so anything around the louisville area would be nice. Thanks in advance for any help!

There is a guy in Bardstown who works on outboards. He has a dyno, I had him replace my power pack a couple of years ago and he did a good job. I believe he charged me around 40 or 50 per hr. His name is Len and his phone is 502-314-9209.
