Get a starting battery with at least 1000 CCA and 215 reserve...as for the brand that will depend. If you charge it after every trip and keep the water level full by adding distilled water I would buy whatever battery I wanted. I am a firm believer that if you do regular maintenance it will double or even triple battery life. If you don't take care of a battery buy the cheapest you can find because you will be replacing it in 1-2 years. Either way just make sure you get high cranking amps and as much reserve that you can.

I typically replace my cranking battery every 4-5 years even if it still has life in it. I just don't like going over 5 years. I used to go through cranking batteries every 2-3 years but I have learned how to take care of them and in return their lifespan has doubled. I have been using Superlex for many years with zero issues. The first time I bought one I spoke with an engineer at the plant and he gave me some tips on how to increase battery life through proper care and maintenance.

I run a group 24 on my 150 with two GPS units and other accessories. A group 27 would be better for me but my battery compartment is just not big enough to go up in group size unless I do some modifications. Since you have a 200 and 2 downscan units I would say group size 27 would be minimum with group size 29 being better and 31 being best. No matter the group size you run just get a powerful battery with a lot of reserve...take care of it and it will take care of you.

I got a few superlex batteries 2 years ago. This will be my 3rd year with them and you would think they are brand new. Amazing is all I can say

my boat is an 05 model, it came with Interstate Brand batteries in it, I changed them out back in the spring with everstart brand from walmart. and the Interstate batteries were still pretty good batteries, when I took them out. I always plug them into a trickle charger, as soon as I backed my boat in the garage after going fishing.
