What this means is that in the time we
were attacked at Pearl Harbor to the day
that Germany surrendered is not enough
time for this federal government to build
a working webpage!!


Mobilization of millions, building tens of
thousands of tanks, planes, jeeps, subs,
cruisers, destroyers, torpedoes, millions
upon millions of guns, bombs, ammo, etc.
Turning the tide in North Africa, invading
Italy, D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Race to
Berlin - all of the above while we were also
fighting the Japanese in the Pacific!!


And these morons can't build a webpage???

Totally agree on Saving Private Ryan it gets me every time....but what gets me worse is this interview from the Band of Brothers "grandpa were you a hero in the war? Grandpa said....no but I served in a company of hero's". I was so engrossed in that movie that I felt I knew the guy and that just tore me up.

LMAO! you know it Don. And sorry for bringing politics into this Geeze it's just sad to see what we have become.I to loved listening to my grandfather tell stories about his time in WWII. He recieved a silver star, and purple heart, and would let me feel the piece of shrap (spell) metal they couldn't get out of his hand.He was one of my biggest heroes. You guy's are right about Saving private Ryan...dam good, loved me some Kelly's heroes to.

I was5 yrs old when WW 11 broke out, watched uncles go off to war. My step dad was a soldier before the war broke out.Mom worked for Douglas aircraft during the war.That vspirit can be rekindled, the draft made many un willing heroes, and korea and viet nam also proved something.If we not 100% for a war. we wont win it. I found a book of old ration coupons that my mom saved.I also remember buying war stamps in school, any old codgers remember those? If and when they are needed americans will do what needs to done.
