I always questioned why scientists are so confident that this isn't a cyclic weather condition. I have been told it's because of data from samples from snow or ice or drillings that prove global warming. Again, when I see a multi billion dollar industry racked with political corruption i do question anything that they say. Look at the things that happens because of this so called crises. Coal industry is in the crosshairs of Obama and destroying families and I suspect his supportive greenies could care less as long as they get what they want. Billions of tax dollars sent to start up company's that are supposed to be cutting edge greenie type energy...solyndra being one.....at a time in this country when we spend more than we collect in taxes. Yet it seems to be ok because of Global Warming which was changed to Climate Change. Wonder why that was changed?? Maybe because it's hard to get support for a political special interest group tied to a term like Global Warming when it's freezing?!?!? Maybe??? Stats that show coldest times in recent history but greenies want money because of global warming? People don't jump on board that easy with that term. See what I mean?? Self serving groups and political idiots doing exactly what you agree can happen. Sell their soul to get what they want.
Im not sold on it as being a multi billion dollar emergency. I'm all for cleaner air or alternative sources of energy or becoming less dependent on others for our energy but that's pretty much where I stop because the end doesn't justify the means. Instead of true effort to so some of this we have to have greenies (mostly liberals) target the coal industry, oil drilling off shore, SUVs and on and on. If our political leaders and the Al Gores of this country really believed the poop they sell they would practice what they preach. Show me a picture or news story of Al Gore not using fossil fuels or jetting around the world in airplanes. Show me where his house is solar powered and and he doesn't vacation in muti million dollar places that leave a huge "carbon footprint". Ain't gonna happen. Fabricated facts to boost their cause of controlling others all in the name on Global Warming that's what I believe.
Am I a skeptic? Yes, because they made me one. I prolly do more to use less energy or a have a less carbon footprint than these crooks. I drive a V6 SUV instead on a V8 I purchased a 4-stoke motor on my last boat and will do so again. Updated my air conditioning and water heater to cleaner or more efficient units when they went bad. I could have gone cheaper on a few specs on these but chose more efficient ones.
Without writing a book....that's why I am a skeptic on global Warming, climate change or whatever they will call it in the future. It's politics and i have to question the motive when there is so much money at stake.
