my guess would be, Doug is staying inside by the heat like I would be doing. I've heard some of these guys here on the forum say, bring on the Arctic weather so the Float & Fly fishing will be good. that area near Doug's location is supposed to drop to around minus 40 today. so old Doug is right in the middle of the best F&F fishing ever, unless he wants to go farther north. if he puts them floater's to bobbing, I hope he don't forget his camera at home, a picture of old Doug with ice frozen in his beard and eye lashes, would show everyone what they are missing, by staying indoors by the fire.

He is posting pics of the snow and frozen areas around his house a lot on Facebook. Most are taken from inside the house looking out!

It's a little difficult to fnf when all the lakes are frozen over!!!

As DJD stated, Doug has hibernated for the winter.

Hi Guys,,,I`m still alive. It was -26 this morning here. Has been as low as -30 this year....we have about 15 inches of snow on the ground.. but sitting here looking at a frozen lake..have about 14-16 inches of ice. But what you all are getting is our normal weather...I`m getting use to -0 weather...people are catching fish like crazy thru the ice on our lake. It`s a great panfish lake.Huge crappie and big gills...can`t wait till spring.

But it`s so cold our cable line broke and had to have Dish come out and replace this morning...but as I write this it has warmed to -9
