The Law Is The Law Fair And Balanced for all ?

Years ago my wife hired a nurse to care for her mother who was bed ridden with Alzhimers to stay with her at our house while we took a week's vacation in Orlando. When we returned from our trip we discovered that she had gotten our credit card info and some of our blank checks from our house and went on a spending spree to the tune of about 20,000 dollars. Of course we pressed charges and the state prosecuted her. When it came time for sentencing, the state prosecutor told me he was going to ask for probation for the nurse. I threw a fit as I wanted her in jail. She got probation. Of course she was young, blonde, built like a brick crap house..I guess the nurse that got 25 years was old and ugly.

Man, that STINKS........really STINKS.

I think the law tries to be fair, but unfortunately, in our system, MONEY TALKS. You can be guilty as hell but have a stellar lawyer, and get off scott free.

I still think the law puts most folks away when necessary, but quite a few slip through.

Same thing happened to me and a series of break ins in my neighborhood. My outside camera caught a douche bag breaking into both of my neighbors, and THEN my house. When the cops caught the douchebag and his girlfriend, they gave them probation, even though they did thousands of dollars in damage to my home, and took tens of thousands of dollars worth of ****.

I wanted to track them down and deliver GEO Justice, but was reminded countless times that I'd go to prison for life for a bunch of ****.

SAD...........Karma caught up with the dude a few years ago, when he was shot and killed in shepardsville breaking into the home of someone who caught them in the act.

Hey George, how is this for weird coincidence? I watched that kid you are talking about grow up. he lived across the street from me for the nine years I lived in Louisville. He was in trouble from the time I can remember. I remember him getting sent away when he was around 10-years-old. He is living proof that some people are just plain bad. He didn't grow up in a bad home, his mom and step dad worked all the time to provide. He has an older sister that has a college degree. That kid was just bad and he met with a bad ending.
