What amazes me is the people in line that go LOCO because they get asked for their ID. I welcome that and appreciate a cashier that asks, because it's only protecting me too!
In order to not challenge the cashier's intelligence more than necessary instead of "CID" I print in black magic marker, "SEE ID". When a cashier does ask for my ID I thank them.
