Elnut is your allergy to vancomycin a true allergy or did they try to infuse it too fast the first time you got it? That ***** to be allergic to vancomycin and prone to MRSA infections. They ever try Zyvox (linezolid) on you for MRSA? Very pricey but an option nonetheless.
My wife is a RN in the E.R. at Kosair Childrens Hospital. They call her in a Z-Pack script every time she gets exposed to MRSA, which as you can imagine is quite often. She doesn't take it so as you can imagine there is a lot of it here.
