Doesn't MATTER that you paid into these ******** programs for YEARS, only to have your wealth raped by the same gubment promising you a handout. Welcome to 1950's RUSSIA.

That's scary stuff. I know an old girlfriend of mine is a home healthcare nurse and for years (even under Bush) would recommend to people even my folks who were facing a terminal illness to start signing assists over to the kids as quick as possible if you trusted them. I think there was a two year period that they had to be alive after the sale to stop people from selling out at the last minute to protect their spouse or children's inheritance. She talked of families losing just about everything to pay inflated medical bills.
I am only repeating what she said and have never read up on it....We didn't do that and I don't know all the details but this article reminded me of that.

In 1984,after being hospitalized for almost 4 months, the hospital told me "theres nothing they could do anymore" During that time my employer had changed carriers,she was paralyzed on her left side, unable to eat, and they suggested a nursing home.I was informed by the state of Indiana that I must give up most of our assets,and I'd be obligated to live on a planned budget.Against their advise I brought her home, and she improved somewhat, and lived for 6 more years. after her death, the hospitals were going to sieze our assets. We negoatiated a settlement.So asset seizure is not new.The president had nothing to do with it. Hmmm, who was potus then?

We ALL have stories like that in our family...and you're right the seizures are not new. I never said they were, what I said EXACTLY was this:

My problem is how do we PAY for it. YOU FOOLS on the liberal side of the fence think we can simply grow money on a tree or pull it out of our ass.

Maybe you can but I can't.

Come up with an effective argument on how to pay for it, and I might buy into it.......otherwise STFU.

those coffin liners weren't ordered by Obama, they have been stored there in the same location sense 1990,
they are used for natural disasters, like when thousands of people are killed in Hurricanes, or flash flooding.

JEC was a failure as president, but a success at being a humanitarian. Looking at past presidents and candidates. Ford made Saturday night live fun to watch. The first BUSH made Dana CARVEY famous. And Tina Fey would make a good veep.
