I will watch the game, because it is the championship of the greatest sports league on the planet. As for the tax exempt status, it is only the league office itself. The teams and players are paying plenty of taxes, but the league office receives funding from the teams to cover activities including office rent, League Office salaries, and game officiating.
I don't agree that the NFL cororate office should be getting tax exempt status and you can think all of your politicians for this. One is trying to get it changed but without much luck. I am posting a link to an article about this which states "if all the professional league offices followed suit, Americans could recapture the estimated $91 million that goes each year for the subsidy."
