I am living on others earnings now.My pension can be terminated, and maybe even SSI will be cut. What then? I'll starve or my children if able will take care of me.When I wanted to live beyond my means, there were credit cards. Under the present circumstances, can pay my debts, I can no longer enjoy the whims I used to take for granted.I never believed in a free lunch.But if the bottom fell out of my life, what would be the outcome in your future? I paid for crops that were not grown, for educating children I didn't have. For fire and police protection I rarely used. I've paid medical expenses for people that weren't even supposed to be in this country. I had little choice in the matter. I'm a third generation American, and have to support the slaves brought here by other generations. What I'm saying is this. If I go down the tubes, it will be with a lot of company.

Yea I definitely year ya. And that was my point......if you do go down the tubes, it means **** has really hit the fan, and if the **** hits the fan, that will be a painful, painful day.

Folks think the great depression was bad. Can you imagine just how bad it will be when ALL those folks on food stamps, wic, free housing, paid gas and heat, Obama phones are told to do without.
