I omagine that those are voluntary contributions.I know that union dues can be taken from your check if its part of the contract.the trade unions dues are paid by the employee in most cases, because they are contract workers.But I'm darned certain that PAC contribs need to be just that voluntary. My esop were deducted from my pay as per agreement. Un like the constitution a union charter guarantees you the right to vote. usually at a meeting.I belonged to USW of America local that had over 4000 members. At a meeting, 200 present was a great night.When something came up on the floor it usually came to a vote, later folks who never attended a meeting complained about it.There were no provisions for balancing the masses, it was simple majority.
