I guess there were a significant number of military forces in the area of operations that could have helped. The folks in and around the administration saying otherwise are LYING.

I believe Benghazi was a Whitehouse sanctioned CIA operation gone bad. I'd love to know what it was really about, but its doubtful we will ever get the truth. One thing that looks certain, the Station Chief and his guys were hung out to dry.

Under the guise of 'national security' the federal government can pretty much do anything they want to whomever they want with total impunity. To me, NSA/Homeland Security is the scariest thing our government has ever created.

American citizens have traded much of our liberty for government money and a false sense of security.
