What is really scary is that crazy " bitch" from Alaska seemed to have had a better grip on foreign policy than the ass hat we have for president.

It just got real. All jokes aside this could spiral into something of global proportion. I hope and pray that our govt makes the right decisions and if we do go in to drive russia out of Ukraine. I pray that it stays a conventional conflict and does not go nuclear.

I guess giving up the missile defense shield in Europe and then BO telling Putin that he would have more flexibility after the election, hasn't impressed Russia any. We have no say in the matter. Kind of like that line in the sand with Syria.

And we are cutting our military size because all the foreign governments are really nice people and if we are not so big and mean they will respect us and the world will love us because we are weak. What an idiot

    nothing will happen

I just got to Germany when they invaded romainia. We went on alert, stayed for awhile and went back to barracks. The Ukraine was a part of Russia for years.EU made false promises to that country about economic aide, Europe is not OURS. We have our Monroe doctrine, are we the only country that has that right to declare what they believe sacred? If the EU can't afford to bail out that country, and Russia is, let them do it. From some of the reports coming out of that country about the corruption, who wants them?Remember he was voted in, and now they want him out.Let the ukraines handle it. ll you "warriors" out there, answer one simple question. What have we gained in our wars in the 20th century?

What have we gained with our wars in the 20th century............

    HOLY HELL......are you freakin kidding?

    Wars in the 20th century.

    WWI
    WWII
    Korea
    VietNam
    Grenada??
    Gulf War I
    Gulf War II
    Kosovo
    Afghanistan

HM............I'm thinking we gained a crap ton of freedom, and protected the livelyhoods of most everyone you know.

I'm suspecting you meant 21st century, so I will give you this.

IRAQ and Afghanistan were necessary, and I think we destroyed the taliban's ability to attack the United States and our interests.

WAR is a necessary evil when you're the strongest, greatest country the world has ever known.......

Finally.........letting Ukraine handle it is foolish, and recognizes that you like most others don't understand the strategic importance of Ukraine.

Russia wants the Ukraine for the pipeline rights into Europe. Putin can FREEZE All of Europe by turning off the spigot. THAT is what this is about.........And I do believe we have an obligation to our NATO allied countries when that happens..........Just sayin.

"IRAQ and Afghanistan were necessary, and I think we destroyed the taliban's ability to attack the United States and our interests."

Kuwait was necessary, Afghanistan was necessary, (not so sure staying there for 13 years was) Iraq was a bush11 vendetta that was not necessary and we gained absolutely nothing by it.

You folks on the left seem to love saying that.....except that the house and senate voted for it. THEIR arm wasn't twisted by Bush. And the United Nations voted for it.......

I'm really getting sick and tired of hearing the same old story from lefties. Bush didn't do anything unilaterally. It was AUTHORIZED......

AND lets not forget.....the chemical weapons being used in Syria....where did they come from? Yea, we know. IRAQ.

    What did WE gain

About 2 million disabled vets. whole lot of dead, and so Europe is free. Of course lets not forget the marshal plan, who knows how much that cost the tax payers,o if Europe is free, why are we supposed to bail them out again. We still have a lot of troops in Germany, are we supposed to sacrifice them to nato? Korea, still there, nothing changed except now part of the country is nuculear, and armed to the teeth and starving. We rebuilt japan and korea, what did WE get? Toyota, and kia, and sanyo. We wrecked viet nam, and didn't pay back hardly anything, we got a lot of Vietnamese, andalot of sea food, but can we export to them? In days of yore when war was war, there were spoils gained. So to pay for our debts we are cutting educational budgets, social programs. infa structure, so we can benefit somebody else. What is the reasoning?

WE are obligated to support our NATO allies........good thing Ukraine is not a NATO Ally.

I never once said we need to send troops, or planes or bombs, or whatever. I too think Europe needs to handle this one.........

BUT I do believe if this escalates, we will obviously be involved.
