Nolin Crappie

has any one fished nolin as of late?? going down in the morning for some crappie action and wondering how the bites been?... are they on wood .. scattered?... anything helps. thanks guys!.. joe

I did not fish crappie but fished Nolin and saw guys catching fish in Brier Creek fishing between the shore and standing timber. It was like a hurricane out the after noon time. They seem to have minnow buckets upfront and only had a few rods in the water. Temps were around 47-48, hopes this helps.

thanks rib, we caught a few back in brier... got on a little better bite trolling grubs and minnows out on the flats from about 6-12ft... got on them a little late in the in day so only managed about 20 keepers, biggest being 14". Not a great day, but the weather cooperated and we had some fun along the way... beats working hands down! lol.
