Cats win 75-65. Harrison twins have been playing lights out trying to get to the Final Four in their home state and Randle is a beast inside trying to do the same. Andrew is making very good decisions, Aaron is shooting the ball better than he has all year. I think shutting down Hancock is key because he seems to make a lot of timely 3's. Russ will have a hard time dealing with the size if Andrew. Kentucky has the size and body advantsge on the inside as well. All this and I haven't mentioned Young and Poythress. Kentucky are not a bunch of Freshmen anymore. If this game was Sunday, only 2 days after Wichita St, then an emotional letdown maybe. But with it Friday to get over WS and focus on U of L, I give the Cats the edge. The guys on Louisvilke have a ring. The guys on Kentucky want a ring, NBA draft and vindication for how the season went. Edge Cats

I hope everyone keeps it civil and remembers that it is just a game and they are, for the most part, just kids. That being said "GO CATS"!!!
I am a KY fan, but I pull for UL when they are not playing UK. Shoot, I even had a shirt made that says in red on the front, "I am a Cards fan, you know it's true", and on the back in blue it says,"But if you cut me, I Bleed BLUE!!!"

I think I'm still in shock. I really didn't see this one coming, especially after how dominant Louisville was in the first 10 minutes.

Kentucky vs Louisville is arguably the most heated rivalry in college basketball and so much trash gets talked between the fans, but let me say this...Russ Smith could play on my team anytime. I read somewhere this morning that he actually went to the UK locker room last night after the game to congratulate our kids on the win. That's a class move from a guy who gives 100% and had just played his last college game and lost. Listen to his post game interview, how he makes no excuses, the praise he gives UK, and his comments about how people ought to be loving each other instead of drinking the Hater-ade. I have much respect for Russ as he graduates and moves on...has been a fun player to watch, even if his jersey wasn't blue.
