    Cats and Badgers

Not as much Buzz this week as last week about this time but The Cats are playing tomorrow, if anybody is interested. Wisconsin is on for a LONG night I do believe. First off, WCS will play so you can ignore all this "possible, doubtful, maybe garbage". How about DEFINEATELY, because no way there's no way after a week will he not play. Unless Wisconsin goes on a growth spurt, 3 guys under 6-3 trying to guard The Twins and Young and a 6-7 guy trying to check Randle are 4 major mis-matches in UK's favor. Wisconsin's 1.8 rebound margin will be about 21.8 against one of the best rebounding teams in the nation. Plus UK's Buffet of crashing the Offensive boards just became the Dinner Buffet at The Taj in Vegas on a Holiday Saturday Night. UK favored by 1.5 points is an ABSOLUTE Cod Lock!!! People can say what they want about the level of competition between the SEC and Big Ten. I'm not so sure the gap between conferences is as big as the rankings say. I've said this for years even when the Big East put about 18 teams in the tourney a couple of years ago and laid egg after egg. Teams that play each other in conference play are only as good as the initial rankings say they are. Meaning if you have a few teams ranked the preseason and other teams play them tough or beat them then they are all pretty good teams. You really don't know hiw good or bad a conference is until the post season. What I do know is that EVERY single team from the SEC all won their first round games whether it was the NCAA or NIT. Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee went a collectively 12-1 in the NCAA and UT had the ball with a chance to go ahead in the last few seconds of their loss against Michigan. SEC puts 2 teams in the Final Four with the overall number 1 seed plus Kentucky that took out a #9, #1, #4 and #2 seeded teams, the absolute toughest road they could have had plus 3 teams from last years Final Four. All this being said, Kentucky has played the tougher schedule regular and post season, bigger, more talented, coach with more Final Four experience points to one fact, The Wisconsin Badgers had a great run but it is all over for them come Saturday night by a wide margin. Cats 82 Badgers 62

Hard to disagree with you on UK basketball but I just don't see a blowout by UK. I do think they will win but I expect a close game with UK winning by single digits.

Honestly Wisconsin has some pretty nasty match ups for uk as well. Everyone is talking about kiminsky dominating uk but I believe that Sam dekker or another player could really hurt uk. This game is going to be about defense. All about who can guard who. You already know Wisconsin is going to try slowing the game down and uk will want to run. This could lead to sloppy offense for the cats and easy offense for the badgers or uk imposes their will. It's a toss up but, I think this game could be a tight one and could go either way. Uk has to have the twins playing good ball to win. I've got uk winning 59-54 in tough ball game. GO CATS!!!!!!

Man I hate it when I'm right ....... About picking the Cats to be in the Championship game and winning the Championship ...... Not about the blowout of Wisconsin. Another helluva game. That would be 4 straight games that both teams didn't deserve to lose. Andrew Harrison about gave it away if his Brother had not saved him. Clutch Harrison hits another. Bring on UCONN, the next victim of Heartbreak Ridge

LOL Elwood, you at least got the winner right, which is the most important. But you sure bombed on the rest of your predictions!

    I would not discount UConn

UConn is much better than what they were seeded in this tournament. It seems to me that the Cats are only playing hard enough to barely win their games. They are not blowing anyone out of the gym. I guess we will find out Monday if elnut is right or not.
