Freeman lake in Etown

Anyone ever fished out there before? I've drove by it thousands of times and never thought to give it a shot. When the weather straightens out I wouldn't mind taking the kiddo out there. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance!

It's a fun little lake to fish when you can't get out on a bigger lake or when you want to take your kid(s). I fish it several times a year. It's trolling motor only of course. I don't know what kind of fish you're after but I know it has some crappie, catfish (mostly blues I think), bluegill, and frankly some very nice bass. I've boated several hogs out of this lake. You have to buy a permit at the office next to the ramp. I think it's $5 per day or $20 for the year. There is also a $1 dollar launch fee. Hope this helps.

I fish there all the time on my days off when I dont have a bass tournament. There is some big bass out there last year I caught one from the bank that weigh 7pounds and 4 ounces and a bunch of 3s and 4 pounds bass. There is some good fish out there.
