I bought the 2500, but it comes with 2 spools. I keep flourocarbon on one spool and and Super 8 Slick Braid on the other bigger spool. The reel is awesome for the sticker price. $80 from Amazon. It is perfect for light jigs, worms, and small crankbaits, but starts to feel a bit labored with larger baits, big cranks, spinner baits, etc.... Great retrieve speed, could run a buzzbait fairly comfortably if you really wanted to. 2 years now and no problems. I have nothing but Shimanos on all my other outfits, and if they'd put the **** quickfire back on some more models, I probably would've bought another!

Is there a manufacture that has a bigger spool than others just to keep line memory down with mono. Just wanting to get some opinions from anyone who uses mono with the larger spools. Thanks.
