    kentucky river 2

    Beautiful day out today yesterday 2 big blue cats were caught down there the guy who caught them took pics and was there today and then we got several slams but no takes but beautiful day for it

    That's a nice little place to fish. Sauger and crappie like to hang out in the downstream lock, by the steps.

    Were are steps at? Is it further down from the boat ramp at buffalo trace

    You are talking about Lock and Dam #2 in Lockport right? If you pull off the road and drive down to the little gravel parking lot along the side the locks, there are steps that lead down to the bank. That lock runs about 8-12' deep, with a couple logs, brush, rocks and other cover.

    Pretty sure those pics were taken from the north side of the river below lock 4 with Jim's Seafood overlooking the dam.

    I dunno about crappie but i have tore up sauger and white bass bige dum monster catfish i hooked something that pulled the boat

    You are correct sir the beat part of that stretch is right below jims which we toree up monster crappie in the dead summer
