Best I've done on Bass @ T-ville .... Summer nights, Full Moon, shaded banks with standing timber, 4" Texas rigged craw, pitched right up on the bank & dragged into the water. Occasionally I'll cast cranks along deep banks, too.
Crappie fishing (post spawn) .... start out at daybreak, cast jigs to submerged timber, & give it up around midday ... or whenever the Sun is shining on the water over the submerged timber spots I fish. If I want to stay a while longer & fish, I'll usually troll a jig behind a crankbait for Hybrids/Whites. Even if boat traffic is heavy, the Hybrids/Whites don't seem to pay them much mind. I've even seen them busting Shad, in between skiers/tubers/boat riders.
... pappy
