A few of these stories to say the least are a little exaggerated..........It was a 1 day tournament with around 70 boats and some of the folks kept there allotted daily limit. If you think that is going to drastically impact the crappie population of Tville you need to speak with the biologist on the lake. Tville has always been full and still is full of crappie! I spoke with Mr.Crosby ( state biologist) today on the water and in his opinion the lake is doing great in regards to blue cat , black bass and crappie. I didnt get to fish the tournament we are talking about but I did take home my limit of crappie today! If you want to see something mind blowing in regards to taking fish out of a lake get down to Okeechobee and see the folks taking thousands of pounds of crappie a day , six months a year out of that lake and its happening down there for as long as I can remember. I think sometimes we underestimate whats under the water. Good luck on the water.
