Anybody ever trotline for catfish on green river lake? If so do you do any good?

Yes, there are trotlines used at GRL and people do catch catfish with them. It seems more and more people are using jugs now though and doing very well with them. When my hubby and I go on a night time bass fishing trip at GRL we'll set limb lines in a few coves before it gets dark then run and remove them when we leave. We do pretty well sometimes and if you like turtles you'll be in for a treat with that method. A word of caution though, if you do set trotlines please keep in mind that the COE can drop the water levels rapidly at GRL if they want to and in certain places a trotline left unattended for more than a day or so could become a guillotine for an unsuspecting boater.
