A little, but pretty slow and tough fishing alone with all the debris. Caught 4 yesterday with 3 right around 20'' and one 26''.. The keeper came off a downline set at 32', the other three came from boards between 12' and 22'. Nothing yet on the free lines, heading back out this afternoon and in the morning.

Boards with no weight about 30 feet back in mouth of larger coves off main lake seem to be producing best. Noticed fish lost their bellies (dropped eggs) this past weekend. No early limits for guides out of Grider and bite doesn't seem to pick up until late morning. Good luck!

big ol super brite moon in the sky all night hasnt done anything to help the "right at first light" bite. limited out on 6 good solid 10-12lb keepers this morning in 1 hr, all fish were caught between 800-900 central time. 1 of 6 keepers still had eggs.

Fishing was good today, parked on a point early and caught a few spots, couple of smallmouth and a feisty hybrid who decided to sink a treble hook into my thumb for disturbing him. Picked up a couple of big cats after that trolling shiners. Moved to another spot to get away from the debris, ate a sammich and trolled some more, finally picking up two keepers back to back right around 1pm. One hit right when I was picking up the rod to put a board on, scared the poo right out of me that did. Both fish measured right around 26'', this was a good day!

What's the water clarity and how many debris are there? Can you even get up on plane and run for all the debris? Planning on coming down this weekend, so I was just wanting to get a heads up on what the water will be like. Thanks!

Clarity's good around Jamestown, debris bad. You can get on plane in some spots but you need to be really careful, there's huge stuff floating everywhere... Really keeps the crowd down though if you're looking for an up-side. Good luck.

Haha, thanks guys! Yes the debris settled down a bunch while I was there, still need to be careful though and keep a very watchful eye. The boat did great, pretty much the perfect fishing rig just need to do some tuning on the boards and tackle but otherwise I couldn't be happier with it. Would love to take you guys out with me sometime, probably won't make it down this weekend due to family obs but soon after will be about all the wait I can stand. Thank you all for the tips and advice, my trip was much better for it.

Very nice headbanger I'm glad you had a good trip. I love Cumberland more than my wife.....lol, naw I didn't mean that well kinda, lol. It can humble KVD sometimes but that makes it a challenge and so rewarding when you figure it out.
Ole stripernut and I operate like a team when we are down fishing together checking in on the phone every few hours and giving tips and telling whats going on it works well I tell you what.

Now he usually kicks my booty but I occasionally hold my own with him. Tight lines to all and please release the brown ones.....
