I was told the buzzbait bite was pretty hot right now. No clue where at on the lake though. I would reccomend a black/blue one in clear water an a white one in dirtier water.

I'm on this board almost every day so I guess you can call me a lurker but it's because I have nothing to post. Un fortunately I've been crappie fishing twice this year but that's it. I've evolved into a crappie fisherman these last 30 yrs (pretty good one) but I want to get back to bass but need help. I'll be at Nolin this weekend staying about a 1/2 mile past Briar Creek towards the dam. I welcome any and all suggestions for suggestions on where and how to fish for bass. I'll post my results when I get back next Wed so I'll no longer be a lurker! Thanks to all!

I will be at nolin this comming weekend. I have been fishing nolin for 20 plus years. Because its a holiday weekend i will be bass fishing mainly at night for bass. Daytime water is too rough to fish for me unless you go to the very back of the creeks {no ski zone} or fish at daylight to 9-10 am before all the boats get out. Nighttime baits i fish with.....blk/blue jig....blk/blue worm...black spinnerbait with a big colorado blade. The spawn should be about over so fish deep rocky banks. Good luck jc
I would fish barton run ...ON memorial day a few years ago I got a 5lber at 2:30 pm on a #7 shadrap . But I would try a tequilla sunrise worm texas rigged , the berkely power worms work great for me and also under the wax bridge look for jumps and use a zara spook jr ..hope this helpsI'm on this board almost every day so I guess you can call me a lurker but it's because I have nothing to post.
