My problem out there was guys stacking fish over the limit. I'm sure that every licensed fisherman or woman pays for the FINS program in some way. That is what gets me. There was a guy throwing a cast net today out there looking for shad and bluegills to fish with. Does me no good to call last time I did warden never showed it was a sheriff's deputy and it took him over an hour.
It may be considered to not be a good policy to keep a egg laden Bass ... if we're talking about a lake or some body of water that's considered a good fishery ... but, Jacobson is no mecca for any species of fish, nor for any numbers of large fish. That being the case, I see no problem with taking ANY legal fish from there.

I do, however, see a problem with taking more than the established limit ... regardless of species. And I can't tell you how many times I've been there & seen that happen. I've even had people BRAG about it, to me. So much so, and so often, that I don't even bother to go there, anymore ... even though it's <5mins away.
