Heading to lake cumberland this weekend with boat, staying at lodge.
Any suggestion for bass fishing (large or smallmouth) would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Considering what weekend this is .... I'd say stay off the lake during the day & fish at night. LOL !!
... pappy
And I will add to that, tons of wood on the lake, good winds durring the day time keeps a lot of it on the banks, but at night with no wind it is EVERLY WHERE. Tie a couple of trained BEAVERS to your bow line if you go. Good luck and best fishing will be on the West end.
if i was going to cumberland this weekend i would stay at the lodge at cumberland and fish over at green river we had a limit and back to the marina by 7a this morning....and there was already a crowd at the ramp when i drove up the hill. all the boats in line to launch were million horsepower 85 foot long missiles....a fishermans best friend lol
Had a good trip to cumberland over Memorial Day weekend. Stayed at lodge and fished Saturday and Sunday caught 25 bass on tube baits casting bank in 20 feet of water. Pleasure boater made fishing a little bouncy but weather and fishing was good. Saw not one other person bass fishing boat in the two days.
Thanks to folks for the tips
