Haven't been down in a few weeks . Are the gills on the beds? Also, have the Walleyes moved back down in the lake from the river? My neighbor said he got 2 keepers out by the big island trolling cranks .

Managed to get out today and found some nice bluegill and sunfish on beds. Caught a lot of small ones but managed to catch enough big ones to bring home. Lake was crowded with pleasure boats and a big bass tourney out of Moutardier.
I just spent the morning on the water and had some pretty good luck. I started out trolling with a shad rap and white curly tail. Picked up 3 crappie around the big island and a nice white bass. Made my way past wax up the towards the river and picked up another white and crappie and lost a nice fish. Head back down towards the island and picked up a walleye off a point. Wasn't a legal keeper though. Turned around made another pass and got another walleye this one measured 17 inches. Made a couple more passes without any luck. Decided to try trolling my a rig. Went up into dog creek and caught 2 largemouth at the same time but that would be my last excitement for the day. The point I'm referring to where I caught the walleye is the one across from that little island with the flag and manican on it.
