Well me and a few buds went to the ky river today to see if anything was biting caught 1 good sauger on a sr5 shadrap in sexy shad color then broke it off switched to a white bps micro crank fish snapped my line on the hookset first thought was it was a titan 2nd thought gar..... so threw on a crappie max crank bait and sure enough caught hooked 3 gar landed 2 of them and one decided to take me for a ride pulling me against the current for about 20 ft then he gassed out weighed about 10-12 lbs my buddy caught a white bass and wicked sunburn the water is warm and the fish are biting we was at the dam in frankfort if we coulda got into some sauger it woulda been amazing but the one i got was out of the middle in about 7 ft of water
