Current Green River Conditions and Tactics??

A buddy and I are heading to Green River on Monday for some bass fishing. Heard its been pretty hot thus far this year though I've never fished it (like at all, ever) so we'll be starting out blind. Any information on water clarity, premium depth, techniques (i've heard cranks & jigs on points?) certain areas/pockets/points of the lake to key in on would be greatly greatly appreciated!!

Waters around 80 degrees and the fishings starting to be hit or miss. Has been really good so far this year, but theyre starting to transition out to summer patterns. We won the USA Bassin last saturday with 19.70lbs but only caught 5 keepers in 8 hours. You can catch some on topwater early in the morning, but id slow down and move deeper as the sun gets high

Awesome! Thanks for the help...that's a heck of a sack as well! We won't be able to get there till mid morning so I figure they'd already be transitioning to deeper water (maybe 5 & 6XDs shakey heads and footballs??). Also, suggestions on ramps to launch at and/or areas of the lake to key in on?

Id say launch at ramp 1 or lone valley. Theyre both main lake ramps and you shouldnt have to venture far from either one
