It's not just ONE person keeping ONE fish, all of you guys that are defending the guy I guarantee you have kept plenty of 3,4,5 lb bass. If you are wanting to eat fish I don't mind that at all, just quit fishing for LM, SM and spots to eat. Hell go fish for crappie, bluegill, catfish, or stripers. Much better to eat and grow a lot faster then LM or SM. a 4-5lb LM is an old fish and if you idiots keep on keeping them because it was your first BIG fish then give me a break like there won't be a problem down the road. It's just sad that I look on this website continuously and see people posting pictures of a 5 lb plus LM and it's at your house in the drive way because you kept it. Same story every **** time, "it's my first really good LM and I only kept ONE" Give me a break, I've heard all the BS before. People that keep 5 lb plus largemouth, it isn't there first rodeo. I haven't read any scientific articles about keeping 5 lb plus largemouth is a good way to harvest a lake. The guy kept the biggest fish and threw all the small ones back, makes ZERO sense. You guys defending this guy probably are the biggest problem with lakes. You guys strictly go out there to eat anything and everything you catch. You talk about slots and it being legal for him to keep it, but I'd say the fish and wildlife probably think you guys have some sort of common sense and wouldn't keep a 5 lb plus fish. But just like every law that is invented, it's to help you idiots with no common sense live in society.

The only time I keep a fish is if I hook it deep and it bellies up. But there is a creel and size limit for a reason. Idk of you hunt or anything but next time you see that dominate buck walk by let him go because he's your breeder. Don't shot those big does either because they are too. You're ripping a guy for being within the law. Just because you don't like something he did. I don't agree with keeping bass either but as long as they don't have to many or any small fish what is there to say. Some people just like to get out there and fish and eat what they catch and if you ask me that's pretty cool. Not everyone has to fish tournaments and own a $50,000 boat. Why don't you stop acting like a big bad fisherman and let the guy show off his catch.

Not a problem at all not owning a $50,000 boat. No one mentioned anything about that. The guy can show off his fish by taking a few pictures with it and posting them and releasing the fish back in the water. You call up to Frankfort and ask them what keeping 5 lb plus bass will do to a lake like Guist Creek or Cedar Creek or any of the smaller lakes. Guarantee they will not advise you to do that. A Big Trophy Buck in the WHOLE STATE OF KENTUCKY is a little different then keeping a trophy LM in a 317 acre lake. You guys go ahead and keep them, then don't be on here saying that every time you go to Cedar Creek or Guist creek you can't catch any good ones 5-10 yrs from now. People already get on here and complain about Cedar Creek being WAY to pressured to catch anything anymore over there. NO it's because you get on here and people are posting pictures of a big bass they have caught and are eating the **** thing. Or get on Cedar creek outfitters and look at all the pictures of big bass being caught and they are taking pictures of it in there driveway or parking lot then taking it home to show it off to there wives like they did something awesome and then eat. Makes zero sense I don't care how many of you get on here and say it's fine. Well see how these so called trophy lakes do down that road.

Regardless of you agreeing or not the guy was within the law. Just because you don't agree with him doesn't make him wrong for doing what he did. Was it the smartest thing? No, but if it's not illegal what can you do? Nothing, so let the guy do his thing and leave him alone.

Nobody ever said what he did was illegal. If he's gonna post that on here then I am free to say whatever I want to him in the forum of public opinion; just like he's free to keep his fish and post pictures of it. If you're going to post it and make it public you gotta take the good and bad comments that come with it.

I hope your ARROGANT ass doesn't fish tourneys, because I've seen more dead quality KEEPER bass left at a ramp this time of year than anybody could harvest.

If you do fish tourneys, and you fish them this time of the year, you need to STFU.

    Later,

    Geo

I've fished bass tourny's for years and have never, to my knowledge, killed a single bass. So your comments don't apply AT ALL!! this guy keeping one bass killed more than I do tournament fishing so how about you STFU!
