They are going to start the draining process later this year in October. It is still open to fishing. I had absolutely no luck at all bass fishing. That could be due to the bluebird skies and a full moon weekend. Anyhow, there is no size limit on bass you can keep 10 a person, 50 crappie, 20 catfish, and all the bluegill you want. I'm not sure if it was just a bad day for fishing or if it is getting fished out already? I did have another angler tell me he had not had much luck either. It was a beautiful day to be out on the water so all in all it was a fun day!
