I fish there a few times a week and to my knowledge there are no bass guides. This time of year you just have to put your time in and learn the offshore stuff

Anyone recommend a good guide for bass fishing on Green River Lake?
Went yesterday, 5 hours of fishing and caught one 18 inch largemouth and another very small one. That was my first trip to the lake and I would like to learn more about how to catch bass there (large and smallmouth).
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Was nice to meet you yesterday on the ramp. I took your advice and fished Butler Creek. Caught 28 very nice crappie in about two hours. Then it rained and rained and rained. 😄
Thanks,
TG
I am not aware of any guides for any species on Green. I'm there all the time and have never seen one.

David Jones is one of the biggest crappie charters in the state, hes been featured on ky afield and several outdoor articles on the subject. He is on green river every day.
Pay this man under the table. LOL Seriously though, he knows Green and is one of the best on it.
I fished there Sunday and caught 4 keepers in my tournament. I had a crankbait bite working, then lost both of the 6xd's that I had and it was over. :/ I couldn't get hit on anything else, I spun my wheels when the 2nd one broke off.
Yes he does, and from what ive heard he can really put ya on the crappie.
To make the OP feel a little better, the fishing has turned tough in the past week for some reason. Not sure if its the blue-green algae or if theyre just hitting their summer lull. I fished a tourny friday night and only caught 2 fish, one of the few times this year we havent managed a limit. Took 13-14lbs to win a couple of tx's this weekend which is a major drop from the 19-20lbs it had been taking
They probably know that the fourth of July weekend is upon them, literally.Yes he does, and from what ive heard he can really put ya on the crappie.
