Hey everyone, I'm new to the site and need some help. I'm going to Cumberland river tomorrow to try to catch my first striper, we are putting in at the Traces and was wandering where to catch some bait in that area? Will be casting white jigs for skipjack. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

They can be found at the mouth of creeks. I saw some guys throwing huge plastic lures 10 inch +, at the timber for stripers. Not sure how effective that would be.

I might put in at Burkesville and go to Strange bait and Tackle. He will give you good advice.
