I felt the boat stop so I hopped up to use the trolling motor to pull myself to what I thought was a stump under the boat. I then realized I was wedged between to stumps. I tried to back out with the big motor no luck tried to pull out with the big motor no luck. All we had were two pliers, a screw driver and a golden ruler. After 20 minutes of chopping with the ruler and driving the screw driver into the stump we finally cut through. Word of advice carry a hatchet or hack saw in your boat. Has anyone else had dumb luck like this. I found it quite amusing afterwards.
