Trying to head out tomorow evening for some cats and late afternoon possibly night time bass was jw if this rain will effect it or if this cold front will lock them up

I went today and it was weird. Caught a 5 pounder (lost it at the bank)and then a 3 pounder but other than that just a couple dinks. Can't tell if the weather had the fish weirded out or if my ponds being poached. Noticed I hadn't been catching the numbers of fish I had been but thought it could just be the summer heat. Of course I'm talking a pond not a lake but still. Not sure how post front will be. Good luck, drew

You would think the heat wouldnt have even been a factor due to the cool drizzle that was falling all day i would think it would get the bass up shallow and moving around smacking top water and fast moving open water baits im going to hit go late this afternoon probably just for bass with big spinner baits and shake head worms

I know the quality and quantity is there but I can't find em right now. Jig fish spinnerbait fish worm fish wacky rig fish crankbait fish but no fish! The only thing I have caught a bass on in the last two weeks is a strike king mini jig wig a little tiny swimbait on the back. Can't disgure it out but I'll let it rest while I'm in Florida and hopefully when I come back it's magically hot fish again lol.

No not really But I guess there was a few left in the creek when they filled the lake, you here of someone getting one ever once in a while. It's my first one sense the lake was filled and I fish it a lot.
