Got cleared from the doc today from my knee surgery so the boat will be burning gas soon. Just wanted to share how ive been catching 14lb bags at the park the last 2 weeks. The water is LOW very low but rising and the low water has helped a ton. If you walk the lake you will find tobacco stakes out from shore. Don't matter if they are in a foot or 4 foot of water there is hardly no cover for them to get into so they all hold a bass. Every stick reloads every couple days with a new bass between 16 to 19 inches. Sometimes casting into them you can see the stake jump from the bass in the center of the junk. There is also some downed trees on the golf course side I caught 4 out of in 1 day all pushing 3lbs. I have been throwing a craw right in the center of the junk with 60lb braid. You will not get bit on the 1st cast but more like the 15th cast so you have to work them over good. The other key is not hopping the bait but a slow drag and the bites will feel mushy so stay aware. If you go at daybreak ive been catching them on a topwater frog paralleling the rock point that is exposed from low water and the cove close to golf course parking lot. Hope someone else does as good as I have been. Went today and was only guy there right in the heat of the day and still busted an 18 inch bass in the same group of stakes ive caught 3 out of in a week 1 was 4lbs. Good luck and have fun and remember if you do keep 1 they must be 15 inches and you can only keep 1. Ive soremouthed a ton!!

Nice!....I was at the practice green on Monday afternoon and saw a few Kayaks out there. I was hitting old used up Golf Balls into the lake with my Driver since my practice was done. I didn't take a rod with me but I may do so later this week.Got cleared from the doc today from my knee surgery so the boat will be burning gas soon.
