Took a trip to rough

I went to rough and stoped by a friend to see if he wanted to go out for a while and he was sick , He thinks it may have been from the lake so i did not stay long after that and just came back home . Any one do any fishing down there is any thing biting got any water temps to share.. As for me I think i will wait until this alge stuff calms down before i go back .

I should say that robs the kind of guy who puts his fish in the same cooler with his drinks and food so if he did get lake sick it may been from that.

Was down there last week and the bite was slowwwwww! Threw everything at em and just did ok. We swam as well but threw back all the fish we caught. Were both fine but I do t know anything g else on the lake. Good luck

I was down there Thursday afternoon and the bite was slow. Talked to several guys and they said the same thing. The water temperature was 84 and the water is super clear on the main lake. Fished a crankbait and spinnerbait some but mostly a worm. Only caught several fish in about 6 hours. Did manage to catch 4-12oz. and 3lb bass so the day was ok. Fished there last week and things were the same, be glad when the water cols down and gets some color to it.

Blows my mind that the water temps are so high even though it has been so cool at night. any one doing any stripe crappie bluegill fishing ?
