With all due respect....I didn't read the entire article. I assume it's full of right wind bashing like all the other articles that get posted. Regardless this is how I feel about Global Warming.

Mark me down as a naysayer.....I think there is a lot of bull in that climate control debate. Firstly, the biggest red flag is they changed the name from Global Warming to Climate Change!!!!!!!!! Does that make anyone wonder why??? Bad choice of words? People freezing the butt off, coldest winters in years, record setting lows and they are saying Global Warming is real.

Secondly, Al Gore....yep the spokesperson who labored over all the data from the Global Warming scientist and went on a whirlwind tour to bring us the bad news. He made extreme predictions based on this data that didn't even come close to being true. Didn't he win a Nobel prize for his tireless work on this?? Hahaha great start so far huh?

Thirdly, I don't need to be told how business, grants, funding and anything else you want to call it works. I see it happen in the field I am in. Corruption to get more money by spending your funding each year and always asking for more. If it takes a few pieces of skewed data or tainted reports then that's what they do.

Fourthly, If this guy is pissed about how they are perceived then maybe they should be upset with the politicians...who make things look fishy and dishonest (Al Gore, Van Jones) They cry global warming but do nothing but ask for money to fund another project....while being exposed on how dirty they are and how they spent the last billion dollars of alternative energy start up companies that failed. This guy has to face it....global warming is a huge political topic..get over it....they basically made a deal with the devil. Their message is only getting out by politicians who assist in funding them and now they don't like it??? Am I supposed to believe that all scientist are top notch truthful people??? Naw ain't gonna buy that there are good and bad in everything. How many times have we been told how data has been skewed to keep the global warming fear alive?? Many times, along with scientist who came clean and said that's what they did.

Lastly, I'm not from Missouri but "show me" the scientist who rave about this doom driving a Prius to work, walking or riding a bicycle to work, living with the smallest carbon footprint, not using cell phones and using solar power at home and on and on....then I'll start to believe its as bad as they say.

update....I read it and I was right. Bellyaching over right wing naysayers. Bashing the few scientists who were wrong and the funding from our tax dollars doesn't amount to much. To me it's the inconvenient truth that he is pissed about. How can he get folks to believe him and other Global Warming fear mongers when there have been some of his own people admitting they lied? Now all the ones who still promote Global Warming are the honest ones. Yeah ok good try but no.....people don't like being lied to. Maybe he needs to think about why politicians and lawyers are looked upon as crooked and not respected...a little clue would be they lie to get what they want which in itself is mildly forgivable of it was their money but they do it at our expense!!!!!

    yes!

On both sides of the issue.Try this perspective, ask someone in california if they think theres any truth to the climate change idea.Or check with someone who moved to arizona years ago to escape hay fever.Farmers in the upper midwest, have had two "hundred year floods" in the past three years. Climate change is in the eye of the beholder. I'm not going to tell a swimmer in lake superior dodging ice flows in july, thats its his imagination. I can't say it isn't happening, I live in a small part of this world, I can only be open minded about it.

    bad idea???

carbon credits never were a democratic idea, please look into it. It makes sense, but it also is a scheme where some folks get very special handling by special interest groups.. There is no simple cure. Common sense will tell you that even if all humamity cut back to minimum usage of resources, as the population increases the demand on finite resources increases.

    they are alone

Some folks seem to forget that it's a big big world. Things that happen else where can effect us. NO we can't make india stop burning coal, they want lights and refrigerators and cars just like us. So a south american farmer wants to make just a few more peso's, so he burns a tract of forest. Thats inanitive, we preach it.

As a general rule, I think it's wise to be skeptical of pretty much everything these days. If you're not, you're either biased or naive.

HA... The right has a special ability to deny most anything, if it isn't true in their head then it just isn't true regardless of evidence and data..
