I heard he took the small one(only 45lbs) and put a hook in the dorsal fin and slid it back in the water looking for something bigger. lol

Great Fish!! You've certainly proven that there's plenty of BIG Blue Cats residing down there...it seems we frequently hear the opposite.
Now that's funny ...thanks guy's. Chuck
Thank you! but 5 years ago I used to get 3 bites a drift....Now I get three bites a day...I'm afraid my little man won't get to follow in his father's steps. Chuck
I so agree with ya chuck as you know I have caught some really big cats as well but I don't see it being for my grd kids :-(

Last week 2 bites one fish around 25# this week one bite one fish 51#...had to hit a deep hole with hardly any flow. Chuck
That's another impressive cat. I'd say you could give Jeremy wade from river monsters a run for his money!

So are you using those suckers whole and alive, or as cut bait? Also, have you used those Asian Carp for bait? I've heard they are very bloody and oily. Sounds like they would make excellent cut bait for big cats. Another reason to kill those things.

Yes whole and alive if possible. As far as the Asian carp go, yes Mark and I have tried them with little succsess but alot of people swear by them. I guess it's like artificial baits, confidence is everything. Chuck
