Best Striper Lake In Late October ?

Never fished a Georgia lake but would like to come down one time before I die. Been Striper fishing for about 20 years in Ky. Where would be the best place to come ?

Lake Allatoona would be your closest, but Lake Lanier is equal or better, and may have larger fish. The cold weather of the last couple days should be starting good top water action on both lakes.

I generally fish Lanier, so I don't have an current info on Allatoona. Good Luck if you come down. Catch a big en.

Gonna start keeping an eye in the weather down there and see what the temps are in jan and feb. . Never really thought of going down there and have been looking for a winter fishin plan.
